The food and service were beyond our expectations. I absolutely loved the environment of this spot. Excellent spot to take the family out for dinner.

Cute little cafe with a standard menu and no wait. Came in expecting it to be French, but was let down to discover everything on the menu was standard diner fare. It was tasty nonetheless. Definitely order the French toast as it was delicious.

Good food, good wine, friendly service. It's a small cosy place and there may be a waitlist for brunch. I've had brunch and lunch here and both were good.

I have eaten here regularly since the beginning of summer 2019, excellent food, small cozy atmosphere, very attentive staff, and not once have I had a bad experience. This is one of the places I can go and choose blindly on the menu and I know the food will still be great.

I wish I had felt like trying something on the menu a bit more adventurous, but I was wanting a "diner" breakfast, so that's what I ordered (+1 for serving breakfast at noon!). It was a better than average diner-type breakfast. The omelette was quite nice, the potatoes kinda soso. Coffee was good. A cozy informal spot..., pricing was what I imagine is "reasonable" for the city. If you just want a simple decent breakfast, I'd say go for it.

The french onion soup was great and the crabcakes were very good although the portion was a little small so either one more crabcake or more salad on the plate.

Charming, cozy, with absolutely delicious food. A good variety of tasty appetizers and entrees, all beautifully presented. Definitely on my "I will return" list.

Pros:1) Free bread2)Curry was tastyCons:1) Seating - I counted one 6-person table, two 4-person tables, and seven 2-person tables. Sure they can mix and match tables some, but there’s limited space2) The bread is sorta plain and a bit too crispy on the outside - but maybe that’s how you like it3) The other two groups here both sent back one of their dark colored wines because they didn’t like it. I don’t drink wine, but maybe that’s significant to someConclusion:Yesterday I had a ramen bowl that I felt was similar to the curry I ate here tonight (in composition of food types, flavor, and overall feel). However, I enjoyed the ramen slightly more, and it was 25% less. So on that note, I probably won’t return as nothing else on the menu seemed like it’d be something I would come here for rather than some other restaurant (I’d go to a burger place for a burger, some home style restaurant for pot roast, Italian for pasta, etc etc...

Had a delicious lunch at Curbside — chicken picatta with a delicious glass of Sancerre. Highly recommend.

The place is great and spacious, the meals was delicious and the rates were very reasonable. fast, productive service and very amiable waiters. Highly recommended.

Great French toast , nice quiet atmosphere

Went there for lunch, it was not really that bad, but..... if you are looking for an authentic french bistro, you might well be disappointed. Almost nothing on the menu is French except for their french onion soup. In the end I had to choose between a pasta dish and a sandwich. I got their “phillycheesesteak” and it’s not that great. Hope this place will no longer be categorized as “french” when users search for real french restaurants on google map in the future.

Great warm free Dutch crunch bread. Fried calamari was really fresh. Good wine by glass deals.

Oh gosh another one of my most favorite places for a morning breakfast ever have an early morning doctor's appointment and then come out and you feel good and you just want to go someplace for a wonderful breakfast on California Street thank you very much

Had an amazing brunch! We showed up on a weekday around noon and there were plenty of tables open. Cozy and cool little spot, and the owner was great as well! It's difficult nowadays for "breakfast" food to appear top tier for average prices, but Curbside did it. It was a wonderful surprise. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant has extraordinary service and tasty menu. One of the best place around here. The drinks and food served quick and the rates are economical. I recommend this place.

We came here twice. Everything from the coffee, to the fresh-squeezed juice, to French toast and eggs Benedict was great. I didn't like the pepper omelet as much but the wife loved it.

4.5! Fulfilling Philly cheese steak, want to come back for the bread pudding baked with bourbon, and the French onion soup looks good too!

Eggs Benedict on crab cakes

The One and Only and I visited Curbside quite a few months ago for dinner. Although the service was fine, the food was unremarkable. We did not go back for dinner. However, a friend and I did go back for lunch months later. As before, the service was fine. But, this time, Holy BLT, which is what I ordered, the food was wonderful. My friend's burger was outstanding. Haven't tried dinner yet but what a wonderful find for lunch. Second time around worked, like bumping into an ex gf and really getting along. Forget that analogy. Never happens. Go to Curbside. Enjoy the meal.

Very authentic french cafe, I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict which were flavorful and wonderfully prepared. A must go place in SF!

Best Hollandaise eggs we've ever had the pleasure of eating! Great atmosphere that pays tribute to the French influence they were going for! Excellent service and quality food! My husband who does not like Hollandaise sauce could not stop talking about how much he enjoyed my order.

Found this homely restaurant by accident while looking around the area, decided to stop by for dinner. The risotto was to die for, as can attest my daughter, and the steak frites was nicely cooked. Having never tried crème brûlée or cheesecake, my daughter and I loved them. The staff is very kind and accommodating, I highly recommend this cozy French restaurant.
